the dining room

When we did our kitchen renovation and the wall was torn down, we were able to establish a beautiful dining space adjacent to the kitchen. Removing the wall allowed for an open concept between the kitchen and dining room. Before the renovation we never used the side room, but now we are constantly enjoying the space. It’s a mix of rustic and modern with the sleek leather chairs and rustic farm table. One of my favorite corners of the room is the bar table with the cocktail poster from Serafini Print Shop on Etsy. My second is the cozy window seat. My mom was kind enough to make me a seat cushion and the Turkish style pillows were from an awesome yard sale! But my favorite item in the space is definitely the faux cactus in the corner. The cactus was originally my parents and they kindly passed it along to me. I’m very happy with how the renovation turned out and can’t wait to have many more gatherings in this space.
