This is the biggest project we have taken on so far in our home and I couldn’t be happier with the results. It has a rustic/modern feel with the dark grouted subway tiles, gold fixtures, and plain white shaker cabinets. I have my husband, father, and father-in-law to thank for the results of this huge project! We decided to go with Lowes free kitchen design services and products. We worked personally with a designer who helped us plan the layout, design, and product choices. As you can see in the photos the original kitchen layout was very dark and closed off with too many walls causing little sunlight to enter. I wanted to brighten and open up the space. I have always liked white kitchens. It feels clean, bright, and at the same time warm and welcoming. I like to think working in this new kitchen has made me a master chef 😉 I hope you like it and gain some inspiration for your own cooking space!
